About
I am a web application developer, currently residing in the awesome city of Austin, TX. I work at Live Oak 360 as a software engineer, and get to work on both frontend and backend application design. I am a huge fan of open source software and code primarily in PHP and Javascript. I also enjoy writing standards-compliant HTML and CSS as long as I don’t have to do the design work (definitely not one of my gifts)!
I am passionate about the web as an application platform that is easily accessible by people of all skill levels and across cultures. Access to information is the first step to making the world a better place, and I look forward to continuing to increase this accessibility through the work that I am doing.
While my work is an important part of who I am, I derive my meaning mostly by what I do outside of my day job. I love spending time with my wife, reading, pondering philosophical questions, being involved in my church, playing Guitar Hero (read: lamenting over my failed career as a rock star), cooking, and running, to name a few.
